According to the Road Traffic Act of Jamaica (1938 & 2018), Sections 16: "A person shall not drive a motor vehicle on a road unless he /she is the holder of a license for the purpose (in this Act referred to as a "driver's license''); and sub-sections C states: "a motor cycle driver's license", which shall entitle the holder thereof to drive a motor cycle".
If you are a International Visitor to Jamaica, and you hold a valid Drivers License from your country of origin or another country in which you have the legal right to operate a motor vehicle with the said license; and such license is endorsed with the particulars that allows you to operate / ride a motor cycle, then you are allowed to ride under international convention, here in Jamaica.
With every rental we offer a CycKing - High Density Helmet (DOT Certified) in sizes M, L and XL and a Combination U-Lock, FREE of cost, with a small and fully refundable deposit upon return.
We are working on our IOS and Android Apps that will be launched in time for our first scale-up toward becoming a National Brand in a few months.
Presently, we only accept Debit & Credit Cards issued by most banks and other financial institutions (credit unions etc.), and endorsed by a globally recognized multinational financial services provider such as MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
Unfortunately, we do not offer motorcycle / scooter riding lessons. We can however recommend any interest to a list of local third-party instructors who maybe available to provide that service.
The provision of a 2024 WarWolf3, fully functional Scooter unit; protective gear / accessories; 24 hour customer support; road side and emergency breakdown support; flexibility to extend or reduce the rental period, with the required notice.
There are no additional 'local fees' with your rental. Once you have read, discussed and sign your Rental Agreement with a Quick Scooter Rentals representative; any other costs you may incur are solely at your discretion as you navigate your way throughout the destination.
Unfortunately you cannot. Our policy on this gesture, however convenient and thoughtful, is quite simple. The Booker is the Payer; The Payer is the Renter; & The Renter is the Rider.
We are open 7 days a week, with varying hours on Public Holidays and on Weekends. Our usual business (Pick-Up and Drop-Off) hours:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Fridays)
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Saturdays and Sundays)
